Yamaha GP8 with Rossi and Viñales

Reposted from my previous blog March,2017

FEELS like the first time even though it was second time for me and my husband to see Valentino“The Doctor”  Rossi but this time it was more special because he came to visit Philippines with his new teammate Maverick Viñales also known as “Top Gun” for the opening of Yamaha GP 8.
With a warm welcome from Filipino fans, member of media I can really say that it’s  “A Legandary Arrival”.  We got a chance to attended the press conference held at Trade Hall of Robinsons Novaliches last January 28, 2017.
The first-time for a 9-time World Champion and well-loved Rossi to visit Philppines was in 2014 for a cause of Typhoon Yolanda victims, it was held in SM Sta. Rosa Laguna. I can’t hide my feelings of excitement (kilig) for having this one of a kind opportunity to see him.
Considering Rossi is a Movistar Yamaha MotoGP big star and also my husband is a fanatic.
Members of media and some of  Yamaha Club leader have given a chance to ask some questions to The Doctor and Top Gun. I recall, Rossi said that he is looking forward to trained Filipino rider someday. And also, shared some tips for the Filipino fans who’s dreaming to be a champion like him. “You need to be tough, faster and stronger”, Rossi always said.
While Marevick Viñales is not only very fast at the racetrack but also  good looking  guy in person that’s why many  female fans is cheering on him while he’s giving some motivational words. The good thing is, they promised to put a Philippine flag on their Yamaha race bikes while on competition.  The two MotoGP star was so thankful for the support, hospitality and passion of Filipino racing fans.

Yamaha GP aims to give opportunity to produced champion riders and help motorcycle scene in the country with the help of presenting high quality and extragavant performance of Yamaha motorcycles.
As we go to the parking lot of Robinsons Novaliches, I witnessed the hundreds of fans and enthusiast who patiently waited for Rossi and Viñales. Despite of partialy sunny and rainy that day the Legendary race between the two MotoGP fans gave goosebumps to all of us. After suiting up, they signed and rode Yamaha Sniper 150 MXi motorcycles and delighted the crowd for 8 laps.
Maja Salvador and Mocha Babes also graced the opening of Yamaha GP 8 with their sizzling  sing and dance number. On the side of racetrack, there’s a lot of booth from Yamaha and others for the fans who want’s to buy some memorabilia from the Legendary Arrival of Rossi and Viñales

This is my first time to create a blog, and im glad that I have shared my experience in attending Yamaha event. Hope to see you again Vale and Mav!
