Music play a key role in our lives. While Filipinos have been really fond of music. That's why there's a continuous evolution of what we call Original Filipino Music or OPM. I personally can't last a day without listening to my favorite songs and watch their videos, again and again.
Recently, Wish 107.5 Your No. 1 FM station on YouTube, announces that the Wish Music Awards will be held on January 15, 2018 at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
From celebrating it's third year, the Wish Music Awards aims to gather and recognize the year's best and well-loved Filipino musicians and artists.

This year, Wish Music Awards will pay tribute to local composers, bands,singers and artists who collectively contributed to the massive appreciation and support gained by Original Filipino Music (OPM) from the public lately.
Definitely, the 2018 WMA will be a start to give thanks to the OPM legends while letting new and up coming Pinoy musicians to step up and showcase their talents and original brand of musicality.
One of the focus of wish 107.5 is to become a gate way of OPM music and artist to the world with the use of digital platform. The no. 1 FM station on YouTube is ooking forward to have more wish bus and to showcase wish artist all internationally and they planning to put one of the wish bus on Hollywood and hopefully also in Europe.
Wish wants to put the spotlight to the men and women who helped rekindle Filipino's love to our very own music --OPM.
The 1st Wish Music Award had the big winners of musical evening chose the beneficiaries of the prizes. With the total, Php 1.1 million was doled out that year. While the 2nd Wish Music Awards, Wish debuted Wishclusive Elite Circle, an award category that reward performances uploaded videos with the highest number of views on Youtube.
Winners of WMA's different category will be choose through voting process. The results will be based on 15% of online vote and 85% from the judges. Online voting opens last Dec 15 -12noon and will close on Jan 15-12 noon.
Fans can start now voting their favorites OPM songs and artists , just visit and vote in WMA website www.wish1075.com/wishaward using Facebook and Twitter account. Wish counting of votes will be one vote per category per day only.
While Wish is consistent with it's mission to promote goodwill and support local music, cash donations of php100,000 each will be given to the 18 choosen charities of the major award winners.
Good thing that there's Wish 107.5 that is whole-hearted not only granting our wishes to listen to our favorite artists to be guest on wish bus and promoting our very own Original Pilipino Music or OPM globally.
